Hi All.

Last stretch in the process before filing.

1.  I have not as my fiance to get passport photo, can this submit later during interview ?

2.  My fiance child is 2+ year, do i need to file a separate form for the child ? or only one for my beneficiary ?

just want to be sure.....

Her passport photo is needed at the point of filing the I-129F. Don't leave it out or risk getting a RFE which will add time to your process.

 

ETA: Refer to Page 11, Item 5 of the instructions sheet.

 

Subsequently, she'll also need more passport photos at the K-1 stage. 

 

The kid will piggyback on the mom's I-129F at the petition stage. Comes K-1 and K-2 visa applications, the kid will need her own DS-160.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

  1. A  passport-style photo is a required document for the I-129F.
  2. The child can be a derivative...no separate I-129F is needed. A separate visa application is needed later in the process.

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

K-1:

5/1/2017: Case received by Manila (1 week embassy transfer??? Lucky~)

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

8/15/2017: POE
