I think you explained it quite well and endorsed the idea "Facts are just facts to those that believe them".  I have a hard time seeing anything that is fact politically in out current times.  Even in science there are things that are thought of as facts that turn out to be not facts.

I do not have a full list of those who participated so I am not going to say none, but all the main players were hate groups.
