I-130 September 2017 filers

Hey, 

we send in my I-130 mid May. They told us, that we used an outdated form (wasnt outdated though). Nevertheless, we got the priority date set beginning of September. We are also at the Potomac Service Center so lets see how fast it will be. The USCIS processing timeline says that they are working on cases from end of March 2017 (last updated beginning of this month). Also when we want to enter the case number is says it doesnt exist. The Center says they are working on it and dont know why it says that the number doesnt exist. So confusing...

If it says your number doesn't exist, that means they somehow never keyed it into the system. My PD is 24 August at Potomac and it's the same. Receipt number doesn't work. There are many others like us. I have sent an enquiry through my husband's congresswoman and we will be bugging them for answers next week. USCIS processing timeline isn't updated in a timely manner. You are better off getting an estimated one by filling out your timeline here because VJ members update when they get their approval and that gives you some indication of when you might see yours.

Check the first three letter of your receipt no,then u will know where the service center is..good luck

Check the first three letter of ur receipt number,you will know the service center processing your petition, good luck

Thanks for the answer. My husband has connections to congress people, too and they checked it and said its all beeing processed so eventhough the receipt number doesnt work, we know that it arrived and they are working on it. Will try to enter my timeline here, Cheers

I also had Potomac service center. I got my NOA2 couple of days ago, PD was 5th of September.

Hi guys! So I got a call from uscis yesterday and they told me my case is within the next processing time blah blah......today at 5am I get a text they took action in my case....Guess who got approved yesterday! ☺😊😊❤❤❤ NOA1 September 8th NOA2 April 17 😊😊😊😊
