hey folks!

My partner and I are just starting to look into our options re K-1 or Spousal visa - it seems this question would apply no matter which.

In the section for my details, it asks about my parents and their country of residence.   Sadly both of them are deceased (my mother 25 years ago, my father a few months ago) - in this case I'm thinking that I should either put "Australia" as that was where both lived their whole life, or should I put 'Deceased" or "Australia - Deceased" in order for full disclosure?

I know how long this process can take so obviously I want to give as much info as possible without going overboard and potentially causing red flags for later (like for if I want to visit on a tourist visa while waiting on the proper one - if they have records that I'm an orphan I don't want them to claim I haven't got sufficient ties to want to come back to Australia).

Thanks in advance!

Just enter "deceased" :)

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
