Hello

I am an American citizen, and I currently reside with my non American husband in Egypt.

I have been living here for many years and I don't have an American bank account or a job, but I have my family over there which include my uncle and my father. Is there anyway I can get my husband his visa without leaving him and going to America, or can any family member of mine petition and sponsor him instead of me?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Only you can file for your husband. You can use this site to search for how to reestablish domicile in the US which is required for you to bring him to the US. If done right, you will be able to enter the US with your husband. But like said, you will have to show proof of reestablished domicile.

Here is a thread on the subject of domicile...
