Hi VJers,

My fiance and I mailed our I-129F in May and have an expected process date of Early October. I am trying to get started ahead of time on future documents for my Fiance's Embassy interview and noticed I couldn't find any concrete information on the necessary time length for the I-134.

I have been in grad school and out of work for the past 2 years. Before that, I was working a corporate job for 3 years. I have recently graduated and received a full time offer which will put me over the minimum required income. The problem is, my job starts this upcoming Monday and I am expecting my fiance to have her embassy interview around December. Would these 3ish months of employment be sufficient proof of having enough income? I have an offer letter which details my income and that it is a long term employment and not contract work. Right now, having a co-sponsor isn't an option so I'm really wondering about how much work history is required to show the ability to support my fiance. If 3 months isn't enough how much time would be?

If it matters, my fiance lives in Seoul.

Thanks!

should be fine since they only care about current income. just print out every pay stub to show how often you are paid and how much.

I was in the same boat with the short time working and it never caused any issues.
