DS submitted. Now what?

I submitted my DS-260. Now what? Will I get an email from anyone? Should I contact someone? Also, how long should I wait before I hear whether my DS260 has been approved?

Your DS260 (assuming this is a DV case) doesn't get "approved", it gets processed by KCC and then you wait till your number becomes current. At that point you will get scheduled for an interview - you'll get an email to tell you your selection page has been updated and you'll find the interview details there. This usually happens about 4-6 weeks before the interview, and you won't hear anything before then. It is only a consular officer at interview who will approve or deny your application for a DV visa.
