Hello everyone,

after 6 months of hard work, i finally made it to the US to be with my wonderful husband after a love story of two years.

we are getting married in a few days and am already on top of the papers because its just so much gosh darn work.

i will be filling for my AOS at the end of this month, god willing. so i had a couple of questions,

and i'd be so grateful for any help i can get.

1. my A- number is the one on my NOA2 above my name?

2. what should i put down as answer in "what is your immigration status "?

3.what is the receipt number  for the underlying petition?

4.there is a question in section 5, that says "how many times have you been married (inculding anulled marriages and marriages to the same person)? should i put down (1) because by the time i file i will be married)

Last but not least if anyone here has moved to MA and knows the process for a drivers license do let me know.

thank you all so much.

Yes. It goes A- xxx xxx xxx.

2. what should i put down as answer in "what is your immigration status "?

K visa holder.

3.what is the receipt number  for the underlying petition?

NOA1 receipt number. Starts with WAC if under CSC.

4.there is a question in section 5, that says "how many times have you been married (inculding anulled marriages and marriages to the same person)? should i put down (1) because by the time i file i will be married)

You'll be filing AOS after marriage. By then you'll be married so the answer is 1 if this is your first ever marriage.

Last but not least if anyone here has moved to MA and knows the process for a drivers license do let me know.

thank you all so much.

so this A# Is my alien registration number?

Yes. You'll only have one throughout your immigration process. A-number = USCIS # also.
