Hi everyone! My name is Marina and I come from Croatia.I am a student and have two more years to finish. Two years ago I went to visit my friend in Boston. I got tourist visa for 10 yers with multiple entries. There I met my boyfriend  who is from Dallas. We are having a long dinstance relationship and it is really hard. Last year he came to visit me here and then I went in Usa to be with him. I had a very bad entrance in Detroit, they kept me there for almost two hours, and I didnt tell that Im visiting a boyfriend.I stayed in Dallas for almost 6 months and then had to go back. Im planning to visit him again in january and honestly dont know how will they let me in. Should I mention that I am visiting a boyfriend?I will have money on my account because I am working too, part time. Should I bring proofs as photos to convice them in our story or? Im so confused and I would appreciated any advice. Thank you so much:)

It seems they questioned you the last time because they believe you are spending too much time in the US. Contrary to what many foreigners believe spending several months in the US multiple time will be a problem. You are at risk of not returning to your country. Keep in mind that it is never a guarantee that you will be granted entrance into the US. If an officer feels you are staying here too much they can deny you entrance.

You don't have to volunteer the information about visiting your boyfriend but YOU SHOULD NEVER LIE if asked directly if you have a boyfriend you are seeing. Lying and getting caught will lead to a ban.

Best advice for now is to bring with you plenty of evidence that show you will return home. You may also want to shorten your trip if you were planning to stay the full 6 months. Maybe do something like a few weeks instead. Keep in mind that the officer determines how long you stay also. They could very well only give you two weeks entrance. I say all of this so you can be prepared next time of things that possibly can happen.

What Nuestra said---also, the POE can determine that you are visiting "too soon" and deny you entry or stamp your passport with the date you must exit the country by.  Because you are approved for 6 months, doesn't mean you are entitled to stay the 6 months---two different things---there have been cases here where people on a 6-month visa were ordered to leave within 2 weeks of visiting.

How long ago was your 6 month visit?  If you just returned to your home country and then go on another long trip to the border officials it looks like you are residing in the US on a tourist visa and they may deny you entry.  Stay only a month at the very most this time, would be my advice.  Return tickets help prove you are heading back home too.

Being given a visa valid for multiple 6 month trips doesn't mean you are encouraged to stay the entire 6 months.

Thank you so much for the info. I was planning to stay about a month this time because i have to be on classes for summer semester on my unuversity. My main concern is that I went home last time in april so that is pretty close to january when I am planning my trip again. Last time I had returning plane ticket for two months and I stayed six instead. Also I dont know which airport I shuld pick to enter the country maybe Atlanta, but Im not shure if that makes a differnce.Main problem is Im going the third time on a tourist visa to travel maybe that will be skechy for them, but on the other hand I really liked USA and can they really deny me entering the state because I travel there a lot? I dont know, so much to think about...

They can deny you entry at any time for any reason.  Only citizens have the absolute right to enter the country.

If you ended your last trip in April, and aren't planning to travel to the US again until January 2018, that's 9 months from now---I don't see a problem with the timing of your next trip, personally.

You said your last entry resulted in a "very bad time" at the border---think about what specifically happened?  Because it might come up again...they do make notes in their system, so the next officer will see you had secondary questioning before.

I have decided to be honest in the immigration office and just say that I'm going to visit my boyfriend and that I will be staying there for one month. Does anybody know what they might ask me? I do have our photos, texts, calls, and emails so I really hope they are gonna allow me to enter the states...

Most likely you'll get the same kind of questions you had before the last time you visited him here....questions like "What's the purpose of your visit?" and "How long will you be staying in the US" are the common ones.

Depending on why you were put into secondary questioning the last time, you may get further questions again regarding other things.
