Hello! I hope I'm not from Kazakhstan.

How did you deal with your Kazakh diplomas?

What problems did you face?

And I saw the topic, that we need permission from the government to leave the country.

It's true?

Hello! I am from Almaty, Kazakhstan as well. I believe with Kazakh diplomas, you would need to get notary translation of your diploma so you would be able to use that in USA. When you will go to interview, you would need police certificate from Kazakhstan.

Вам нужно будет взять справку о несудимости в ЦОНе и нотариально ее перевести на английский язык. Если есть другие страны где вы проживали с 16 лет более 6 месяцев кроме США, вам нужно будет предоставить справку о несудимости.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hi to brides from KZ✋🏻 What’s the date of your NOA1? Are you still waiting NOA2?  Did you already get your police certificate. We just applied ( January),  and I am already tired of waiting 😬

We received NO1 on October 31, still waiting. But it looks like it started going much faster. Expecting NO2 in Mid-May! 😍

Hey! Finally i have found you! :) I am a December filer... 84 days already... feels like eternal... NOA1 dd 08 Dec 2017.

Got my police certificate. Notarized and translated all possible documents. Following Aug, Sep and Dec topics.

Not sure if i need my fiancé's certified birth certificate or just a simple copy of it or just a simple copy of his american passport for my interview? Such a confusion...

please advise 😘

Hi! If it is still actual then Diploma has to be evaluated in special Organizations like WES (World Education Services). They make credential evaluation of your Diploma and will give you a certificate what degree does your Diploma matches in USA. You can make it once you arrive there as it will cost less and will take shorter timeframe. Good luck!

Hey guys. No, you should not consider WES.

A lot of evaluating organizations are present in the U.S. and WES should not be the only choice!

I said LIKE WES. I was not suggesting it as the only option. :)

When everyone's NOA1?:) What stage are you at? Are you already collecting documents before NOA2? Or should we wait because of the date on those documents?

Hey! :) I am a December filer (8 Dec received date). And got certified all my documents (translation and notarization), police certificate. Affidavit is pending. We decided to get it done after USCIS’s decision on our case so that we could show latest data. And i emailed several times our US Embassy and they confirmed that notarized documents have indefinite validity. So it can be done anytime. Additionally they confirmed that police certificate is valid for one year starting from the date of issuance. That is all as of today! Everything else is just regular planning on wedding, house matters and etc... What about you? :)

Hello,

We got our NOA2 on 18 April and our NVC status is "In Transit" since Thursday, 10 May.

Can anyone tell me how long the "In Transit" takes?

Also, how long does it take to get Medical Exam results in Almaty?  Is it possible to do both the exam and the interview within a few days of each other?

Thanks!!!
