Hi folks - please forgive me if this is a simple question (my first time here).   Now, my wife who is a Green Card holder, wants to bring her 12 year old from the Philippines to stay with us.  My question is, does her daughter qualify to come here on a K2?   If not, what are the options?   Who would sponsor her (the child), my wife or myself (US Citizen).

Thanks,

Chrism

hi

when did your wife get her k1 approved and why didn't her daughter come with her so you could file for both of them?

if it is within a year of your wife getting the k1, then she can come on a k2. if not it is better for you to file for her. if she files for her daughter, it can take 2 years for her to come
