Hi everyone! Could anyone tell me please what are we supposed to do now after the case had been approved?

How do we get news from the NVC. Do they call/send e-mail or are we supposed to call? Thanks! Hope now the process goes faster!

Call NVC to get the case number and IIN in a week or two :) From there you can track your case using the case number on https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx.

Once the tracker says 'Ready', that means the case file has arrived at the local embassy and the embassy will send the foreign beneficiary the Packet 3 :)

Right now, as the petitioner, you can start completing the I-134 and gather all the relevant supporting documents as well as prepare a new letter of intent.

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

Thanks for you answer! A new letter of intent? Just the same as we sent with I-129f?

and who is supposed to call Th NVC? The petitioner only?

The petitioner and beneficiary can both call NVC but probably cheaper for the petitioner who is located in the US :)

Btw, read this page http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ru/ru-iv-typek.asp.

And this too https://ru.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/.

No worries. Wish I could tell you more but it's getting very embassy specific past the NVC so I can only link you to what I found :)

The petitioner can call the NVC starting approximately 2 weeks after receiving NOA2.  I suggest calling very early in the morning or late afternoon.1-603-334-0700  Hours: Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Eastern Time).  Once you receive your case number you can complete and submit the DS160.  Everything from here on out will be embassy specific so I encourage you to go to your country portal and read past topics to gain insight.

Reading up on what's next to come is helpful.  You can research in embassy reviews, embassy info, and the country portal.  Using the advance search tool for question topics helps too.

I'm going to jump in here and hope for some answers as well instead of starting a new thread....

I was able to get our NVC case number   The guy on the phone said they would send it out very soon since they were only doing minimal processing, when I check case status it says to refer to the list of 6 items I was sent ?   What is this?  Is this mail that I'm looking for?  The list on the website doesn't look like anything I've heard everyone talk about   Assigning an Agent and a ds-260   I thought we were doing a ds 160   Please help this is going fast and I don't want to screw up and delay anything

K1 filers can ignore that part of the case status tracker. I do wish that they would make that more clear, maybe include a line that says that it doesn't apply to K1s. You just need to check the tracker to see where your case is. It will go from 'At NVC' to 'In Transit' and finally 'Ready' once it arrives at the embassy.
