So my I-751 is still processing and I am now also eligible to file for my naturalization with the N-400 and I'd like to do this ASAP in order to get this whole process over and done with. As a spouse filer, they want to see the US Citizens birth certificate and some documentation referring to us like our tax returns. There's no divorce papers or anything regarding previous marriages to send so this evidence package should be small. But here's my question;

I sent in the most recent 3 years worth of tax returns in my I-751 evidence package. Will they really want to see the exact same paperwork again bundled with my N-400?

Has anyone else been through this? I know they can be particular about sending in evidence that has been submitted before, but it does list it as a requested evidence piece.

Thanks.

I've done this last year. I listed list of evidences I sent along with my N400 package in my timeline, check it out if you'd like. Some of those evidences (tax returns and rental contracts) overlapped between the I751 and N400 but, overall, evidences I used for N400 package were not as comprehensive like in the I-751 package.

Mine  picked up where the I751 left off the year before. However I already had my 10 yr card approved.  Basically it was the most recent financial statements showing we were still joint. The tax transcripts were repeated. Then photocopies of all the other things mentioned like the marriage certificate, proof she was a USC, etc. They send a notice saying to bring the originals to the interview. My interview lady wasn't bothered with looking at originals. It was short and sweet and approved on the spot. She said hang out 30 minutes in the lobby and somebody would bring out my ceremony letter and instructions. I hope yours goes so nicely.
