I-765 is just an optional application. So if we file with AOS or later, we have to pay $180?

I recall when we filed I-864 Notary was required. However after looking at the New I-864 it does not appear to require Notary.

We also had other things notrized such as my wifes translation of her BC, it wasn't required we just did it as validation.
