Mrs Presson, the blogger, is a Filipina and her application was done in Manila so you might have to find embassy specific info that applies to Italy.

 

On a lighter note, you can complete your DS-160 and pay the visa fee now if you really want to. The visa fee payment is valid for one year. Just make sure you have both the WAC receipt number and your NVC case number so that you could enter them where applicable while filling out the DS-160 and/or registering your AIS US visa account.

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.
