Finally recieved my interview schedule after all the hiccups I've incountered. Wasn't expecting they will schedule me sooner than I thought. I already prepare my self to get my US citizenship by 2019.lol

I just checked the processing times for Sacramento and it moved again to 9-13 months...last time I checked it was 9-12 months I'll try to call again to see if someone can give me any information at all or if they just don't really know what's happening to my case and just say whatever they want when I call.

Please do! Take it to the Senator's office if you can spare the enthusiasm. Feinstein is up for re-election, which may be a good thing (she wants new voters) or bad thing (too busy). Alternatively you can go with Kamala Harris' office. Or even the USCIS Ombudsman's office. At this point you're practically at the outside of the 9-13 month processing time stated, which in my opinion is a conservative one because most people seem to get done in ~7 months.

I don't think the Sac FO itself is bad. I'm done with my entire process as a late Dec filer (oath last week) and they were a pleasant experience. I find it really unfortunate that you are stuck in this manner. When you do get your interview, feel free to ask them to put you in the immediately available oath ceremony afterwards. I was able to get my oath within 2 weeks of interview.

I have mailed out my N-400 application on 10/5/2017, and after the bio (11/8/2017) my case became in line for interview on 11/13/2017. This was the last action on my case and there is no update until now. I have contacted the congressman two weeks ago and finally he came back to me with the same answer from USCIS that my case is still in line for interview and it is within the jurisdiction of the field office. At some point I felt it was a pointless of contacting the congressman, and I don't know if it's going to be better to contact the senator or even USCIS Ombudsman. I really have a feeling that all of them are doing the same typo of checking cases, and they wouldn't do much more than the regular phone call everyone can have with USCIS customer service inquiring about his/her case.

Ohh, almost 10 month waiting.

We can only encourage one another here. It may be seemingly a worthless cause, or it may not - the act of trying may get the wheels of the machine to move again on one's case. @kaberosi's case is unusually long for Sac FO, but the current waiting time is approximately the point where those who were stuck in BC manage to get an interview date.

I just called them again and I've concluded that they don't know anything about my case outside from the fact that it is in "Received" status. I was asking why my online case status hasn't moved (because other people at least get a status if they're stuck in background check) and they weren't able to answer. They have also said that I will have to wait until the "Receipt date for case inquiry" is on or past my receipt date (Sept 12, 2017). Thank you so much for your responses, though. I will look into taking it to the Senator's office once it does go past the 13-month period.

Random question, when do they update the processing times page?

No idea. As far as I can recall, Sac FO has always been 9-13 months, ever since the new processing times were reported earlier this year. Maybe it became 9-12 months at sometime, but I didn't notice that change.

My someday finally came to pass and yes I became an American this red letter Day. Wot ! From a smooth sailing interview to same day oath babe. Interview schedule. June 27 for Aug 2nd and am all done and dusted . Paint me red babe and best of lucks to those still waiting. Someday out
