It is finally over (for my husband), and another ceremony to attend next week! 

 

It went very nice, easy and smooth process.  Only downside was about the passport application, we brought his passport photos, application that filled out and a checkbook. But we learned that applications that are done in USCIS building are quite costly than a regular post office application.

 

They insisted on charging us $60 plus fees on top of the regular fees. We ended up not applying on the spot. Will wait my own ceremony and will apply together at our local post office.

 

Has anyone experienced the similar situation at the 101 W Congress Pkwy Chicago?

Hi, can someone update this list to show that he is now a US Citizen? Oath ceremony was yesterday, January 8th, 2018. Good luck to everyone still waiting. It is worth it.

24 July 2013 - Sent I-129F (USPS Certified Mail)

26 July 2013 - Package delivered (according to USPS tracking number)

30 July 2013 - NOA1 notice date

31 July 2013 - Received USCIS e-notiification and receipt number: Package received, transferred to CSC

31 July 2013 - "Alien registration number changed" email

2 August 2013 - Received NOA1 hardcopy

QUICK RANDOM QUESTIONS GUYS...

 for those who had their n400 interview with their I-175 pending, wanted to know if the interview letter stated both couples should be present or its just you. i seen many go for their interviews with the spouse and they not even allowed to the interview room. 

 

Is it mandatory you go with your spouse or interview letter just specify you ( one filing for the n400) to show up for your interview. very random but all suggestions will be nice

Good luck. I am scheduled for Feb 14 for an interview too. The thing I am worried about  is I still have a pending case (ROC).

My husband and I both are done with this adventure. :)

 

Today I took the oath with 109 other people, it was great!
