And that’s a no!!!!

i have to wait for green card and then they will reschedule again. I’m devastated. ..... he apologized because they get file right before we go in. But nothing he can do. He said he will send the file directly to the office downstairs and hopes that will speed it up a little. The officer was very nice.

My eGov status has been updated, but not the myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov website.  

Egov says, it is now under QUALITY check  I do not know what it means.

Ok you guys, I couldn’t figure out who was who I was really looking but there were so many couples. Then I was just upset, but you can never say that! 

Anyways, remember a month ago I asked if anyone here has applied with I-751 pending and we had a successful interview story, well that did not work for me. 

I came in, he was nice and smiley, I flirted with him about please not asking me questions that involve names because I’m confused and we almost bonded. 

Min the office, it all seemed normal, they took a picture and fingerprints for identification and then he said, Kate I am really sorry but we receive cases just moments before we call you to the room. I looked at your case and noticed that your green card case is still pending. Based on that we could not proceed with citizenship Interview. He advised that he will process my case to local office (downtarirs) instead of returning to ASC and he hopes it will help. But yes, I now have to wait for green card interview and then be in line again!

side note, he also advised that due to change in power no more interview waivers are given to  GC Holders applying for a 10 year gc based  on marriage. Previously unless they actually had questions to ask, they would simply mail your green card, no more. So more to come on that. 

My online system is still showing estimated completion date - September 2018, now this time frame seems pretty realistic!

 

P.S.  I am great at hiding my feelings😭😭😭😭😭😭😭Devastated!

So sorry...I have a question, How long have you been waiting for your Green Card? I also have pending ROC that I filed end of October 2016.

I called a month ago they told me I have to wait maybe 3 to 4 months. Regarding my n400 the status still the same ( we are still reviewing your case). I had my biometric las Nov. 16.

I really hope it’s going to happen soon for both of us. This is exhausting!

Passed the interview! We came in early and I had to wait about 40 minutes more after my scheduled time. My officer was nice, not very chatty, although I was super nervous anyway. We started I with the application first and I totally forgot exact dates when I was out of US... I was like " they are in the application, it was long time ago haha....and I had to change my Russian passport in between, so some of the leave/entry stamps were missing, but we figured it out..then we proceed to those billion questions if you have ever been doing something wrong before. Then he suddenly asked me to read a sentence, then to write another sentence, and then he ask me 6 test questions (that I dont even remember which ones they were haha ...that's how nervous I was!). And then he said he recommends my application for approval and ask if I want to do the Oath ceremony today, so I said of course I do! Whole interview took no more than 25 minutes, and 2 hours later I took the Oath and got my naturalization certificate. There were 20 of us today there! I am beyond happy and excited!!!
