Yup! I'm really hoping that's the case for all of us. A few of our fellow September filers' cases have been updated so that's a good sign. I'm sure most of the online filers will have their interview scheduled between now and December. My friend who filed online ten days after me went straight from "We are actively reviewing your Form N-400" to "Interview was Scheduled" skipping the "in line" status.

I don't think there is a in-line status for online filers.

Actually, I think you might be right. Because online filers from previous months were getting their "in line" status from the old ELIS website. Now that they've resigned the site, the new site where pdf documents are uploaded does not have the in line status.

Hello all,

 

I have a question... Do USCIS generally wait until your 3 or 5 years are completed to schedule an interview? For example, I applied 90 days prior to my 3 year anniversary (marriage based), but I wonder, will they only move my case forward once the 3 years are fully complete? 

 

I have already had my biometrics done, but I am not ‘in line’ yet, and I wondered if that was something to do with timing of my 3 year anniversary.

 

Any insights?

It is also my impression that what you are saying is the case. I also applied around 90 days (see my signature for details) prior to my GC's 3rd anniversary. However, on October 26, I checked my Elis account and it said that USCIS has scheduled me for an interview. However, up until now, I heard nothing further. My GC's anniversary date is on Dec. 1

My green card is more than 5 years old, and I had my biometrics done almost a month ago. I also still have not heard anything else from USCIS. I think that your delay is based on the delays in processing due to busy service center.

I just got email saying that USCIS took an action on my case, but when I went to check my status on both websites (uscis.gov and one that you sing in) and there is nothing! No changes whatsoever...so I wonder if it takes awhile to update it online. Although it does not make sense to me, I would think that they update it online and that a website generates email notification after that... No I'm all anxious about what they have updated there if at all!!!!

Hi! I read on the August filers thread that some of them are having trouble accessing their online account. So, I tried to log in to my myUSCIS account and I can't log in as well. Check back later. Maybe all sites are undergoing some maintenance.

Fprints:  Date assigned for fingerprinting (Bio-metrics). If you do your biometrics via walk-in prior to your scheduled appointment, please enter the date in bold blue.
In Line: Date you received e-notification about the start of your interview scheduling.
Int Ltr: Date you received the official letter in the mail regarding interview.
Interview: Date of your interview.
Oath: Date Oath taken.

This morning, I went to my USCIS NYC field office to check my N-400 status given that my status was changed to in-line on October 26 but no further updates after that. The immigration officer whom I talked to told me that USCIS has requested the field office for an available date to schedule me for a naturalization interview. However, since there is no available slot at this time, she told me to patiently wait. At the very end of our conversation, she advise me not to move as it would cause further delays in the process. I think I'll just follow her advice and wait until January to see if there will be any further updates.
