Hi, I am an online filer. Just as an fyi when checking your case status online. I tried the "new user experience' site and it gave me interesting information. "Estimated case completion date: September 2018 (11 months)."

It was good, I had 7.30 appt this morning. came in, had bags checked, went to infopass window, showed first officer appt letter and documents, he asked to fill out the form and wait for my ticket number to be called. Waited. Then 2nd officer asked what was the reason of my appt, I said i551, stamp of extension, and status update. He took picture of me with fingerprints to run background check for i551. Waited another 10 minutes, he called me in and handed passport with 6 months extension, I hope hos decision to only give me 6 months and not a tear was based on me getting this documents soon, fingers crossed! Anyhow, I asked him why after biometrics my status only changed to "We actively reviewing your case" and note that we received your biometrics and he simply said because it won't, until i751 is cleared. As simple as that! My hopes of being done sooner than later are crushed!

I'm glad your Infopass went smoothly. However, it is interesting that they said your N-400 case wont move because the I-751 is still pending for approval. From reading the last year's forum, I understand that some applicants' pending I-751 petitions were adjudicated on the day the had their N-400 interview.

I very much hope this is the case! It's been almost a year since i applied for i751, so about time for something to move forward. With reading current i751 and n400 feeds not much going on for us, seems like all offices are jacked right now. Good luck to all of us! 

Is there anybody here with i751 pending?

Congratulations and I'm glad to hear that both interviews went well. Your N-400 journey moved pretty fast, too. It took you only 3 month from the day you filed the petition to your interview date. Very impressive!

I know many of you have identified your field office, but mine just identifies National Benefits Center should I be concerned? I am currently In line for interview.

It's wherever you had your last interview unless you've moved to a different county or state since then.

I used to live in Houston, moved states then came back to Texas but reside in a different area because my prints were taken in Austin since its the closest large city near me.

I think the biometrrics are done at Application Centers, not the actual field office. But yeah, that link is great tool to locate your field office.

Biometrics do not necessarily get done at the same location as the field office you are assigned to. I live in NorCal, and my closest city is Reno, NV. My biometrics were done in Reno, which is different state from my residence, but my field office is Sacramento.
