Did my biometrics via walk-in today. My schedule was supposed to be 10/03/17.

I went in at 8:00 am. In and out in less than 10 minutes including security and form-filling.

Can someone please update the table so I don't screw it up? NOA received September 14th, Biometrics appointment on October 3rd. Original GC date is 8/15/2014. We applied online but will go to the Chicago office for intervier. Thank you!!

26 July 2013 - Package delivered (according to USPS tracking number)

30 July 2013 - NOA1 notice date

31 July 2013 - Received USCIS e-notiification and receipt number: Package received, transferred to CSC

31 July 2013 - Check cashed

2 August 2013 - Received NOA1 hardcopy

4/22/14 - Day 28 - Biometrics completed @ 10am (Chicago - Broadway location)

6/09/14 - Day 76 - Received EAD/AP combo card in mail.

11/4/14 - Day 224 - Interview in downtown Chicago location

11/5/14 - Day 225 - Notification of GC approval!

I did my biometrics today as a walk-in. No line or much waiting. I was probably in and out within 15-20 minutes. Can someone update the information please.

I am not sure they do. I went to my FP with my wife and we did it at the same time. We both got the same time that our status changed which was just to say they our FP was done. However, her status changed to interview scheduled few hours after that which I think it meant that she is in-line for interview (not actually scheduled for her interview). On the hand my case was still we have reviewed your biometrics. Now after the new update, her status changed back to we have reviewed your biometrics (same as my status). So I am not sure now if I am in-line or not and want to know if someone else had the same situation.

I see.. according to your explanation I would assume that what happened to your wife status could be a technical issue of the USCIS website. And now they actually updated the site and fix the problem that just my opinion. But wait to other people here might have same issue and help you with that.

Received an email saying my case status has been updated. MyUSCIS shows:

We reviewed your biometrics

You do not need to do anything at this time

We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application.

 

The estimated time for an interview is 6 months and they updated the case completing to April 2018 when before it was May 2018.

The EGOV status says that my case is being reviewed as of September 26 and that nothing is outstanding.

Same status. The difference is estimated completion is 11 months to me lol.

Question: How would I know if or when I am "in line" if I did not file online? Am I supposed to receive a snail mail?

 

(USCIS cannot recognize my/our case number online... as mentioned by some users earlier)
