I got that email/text the following day after they've charged my credit card. I'm sure you'll be getting yours soon.

Finished my fingerprints by walking-in to the Seattle support center - was easy and took a total of 25 minutes.

I find it weird that I did not file electronically, now I wish I get my biometric appointment soon (I just received my NOA letter yesterday, a full week after they cashed my check).

Hello everyone!

 

I have a question, how long does it take to be done scheduling/mailing stage of the interview?

 

According to the online status, the interview is scheduled, just waiting for them to mail it. This is since 9/16.

 

I am not in a hurry, but in October my son is scheduled for a surgery, and requires to stay in hospital&home for 15 days post surgery. So, I just do not want these two things to overlap :( .

Hey, I was looking at the August filers thread to kinda gauge the timeline and saw that none of the online filers have received their interview letter yet but one. That applicant received their interview letter on 08/25 with the interview scheduled on 10/10. So basing from that, if you receive the mailed-in letter later this month, your interview will probably be around the first or second week of November. But then again, it's a case-to-case basis so just prepare for an earlier interview date sometime in October.

Thanks, that's true, it is tough to estimate based on other applications. 

 

Today saw that they updated something on 9/20 (not sure what it is), of course no PDF file or mail confirmation posted yet.

Hello I have a question about my passport from my birth country  it's already expired I don't know if I will be needing it to this naturalization process? I don't have plans to renew it. So I'm wondering if I could just leave it as is or renew the passport incase the uscis needs it for some reason and reliaze that it is expired would it be a problem?

No, you don't need to renew your Philippine passport if you don't plan to travel abroad between now and when you become naturalized. You have a state ID or DL right? That would be enough to show as ID to enter the service center during your interview. Also, make sure to bring that expired passport during your interview to prove the trips you took (if any) at the time that it was valid.

Ok thanks for the info. Yeah I have a DL and other Id's I could bring.
