Thanks for the wishes. After seeing how quickly the online filers got their interview date in Chicago, I was regretting now filing online. Well, a couple of months late compared to the online, but it is finally here.

Seriously I don't know how the case completion estimate works. My case was estimated to be completed by April 2019 (15 months from now), however, today it was changed to January 2020 (22 months from now). My wife has her interview scheduled yesterday and her case completion estimate date is also January 2020.  The other funny fact is that I have applied with her the same time (same day, few minutes apart) and still I didn't get my interview scheduled

i don't know who actually updates their systems but with the estimates i have come unto conclusions that, they actually puts those years to actually finalize the case and close the case generally. Meaning within that time frame , your case must be completed. Regarding your wife getting her date and yours is still inline while you guys submitted it mins apart, i think yours will be schedule less than a week. Mehn i have been inline for over 4 months now while others stayed for two months and they have their interview dates. Lets hope for the best and for all those who actually received their dates , CONGRATS. update the time lines with the new dates so we can keep track of ours. Hope is here and wish everyone a successful journey

I had my interview, and it went very smoothly! There was an oath ceremony the very next day, so I took that and am now a citizen! Good luck to everyone else on the rest of their journey.

I don’t think that you should rely or even try to comprehend how that thing works because like what many have said before, that estimate is very unreliable. I read a few comments from people months ago who were already naturalized but the completion date estimate given to them was months later after their oath taking ceremony.

Hi Guys, so finally i got my interview letter today  My interview will be on the 10th of April in my Field office. (Someone Please update the Chart)

 

I still have my i751 application pending, however i checked my other WAC# and on March 4th it was transferred to my Field Office. I'm a CSC Filer.

On March 5th i received an email & Text message saying Interview has been scheduled for N400. I'm a Paper filer, filed based on marriage. Not sure if i should bring the wife, since she works and no where in letter it mentions to bring spouse, so any suggestions would be appreciated. 

 

Will keep you guys posted, and i'm sure everyone will be done very soon. Good Luck to all of us.

And yes, I suggest to bring your wife with you and mention to the IO about the pending I-751application. Some people here did that and the IO called in the spouse and did the interview for both applications.

Wow! Congratulations! I can’t wait for mine. It’s in the 20th. By the way, when did you fill out/sign  your oath letter? Ay your house or at the ceremony venue?

Thank you! I partially filled it out the night before the ceremony. I completed the date and signature part when i got to the parking lot of the venue, as well as the box asking if i broke any law or had any traffic violation (just in case i get caught overspeeding on my way to the ceremony lol).
