Hi everyone,

I posted this question a couple of days ago in another forum but did not get any answers.

Is it normal for kids :bonk: (my stepsons, age 10 & 12) to get biometrics appointment letters for the same date and time as my husband. I thought biometrics were only for age 14 and over. I hate to see them miss a day of school for an appointment they dont need(although they are ecstatic!:dance: ). They will still go to the appointment anyway, but I was curious if this is normal.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

J

Yes it is. They will only have one finger printed and will sign their names. My stepdaughter are 7 and 12. So don't worry about it. You will be waiting more for your husband that your kids.

J,

And, the kids will get their picture taken. Photo and fingerprint needed to make their green cards.

Look at the Code on the NOA - '2' for the kids and '3' for hubby, yes?

Depending on what time of day it is.... the kids shouldn't get too excited I would imagine all three would be done in half an hour... not much school missed there unless you have to travel far for the actual appt.

Hey everyone!

Thanks for responding. The codes are 2 for the kids and 3 for my husband. Also, we have an infopass appointment scheduled for an hour and a half after the biometrics appointment so the kids will probably take the day off since we live an hour away from the Milwaukee office(they are soooo disappointed!).

Thanks again everyone
