Well I called DOS to see if they can tell me any thing about these so called checks that USCIS has us stuck in. After wating for 20 min to speak to a visa specialist....they tell me that they can't help me because we are still in USCIS. They wont know any thing about our process of security checks untill USCIS approves us. AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG this is a never ending cycle of getting no where!!!!! Oh well I knew it was a long shot ...but I guess I was trying to have some good hope from some where. For some reason i was under the impression that DOS was the place to call and find out any thing about peoples ongoing security checks. Was the person that helped me completly wrong or how come some people that call DOS are informed if they have cleared these so called checks.

I am sorry to hear about that. I wish i could guide you to someone who could help. There has to be somewhere to get to the bottom of this! I was thinking maybe you can contact your local television network such as a problem solver and explain your situation and who knows maybe their investigative team can do some research and expose these gov't workers for not doing their jobs!!!

me and my wife on same boat as you are and we do not what to do , we applied on 2005 and our case still pending till at uscis and last week they told us that the case will take up to 180 days for check security i do not know what does mean,

OMG we applied in 2006 and Im dying. I dont know how you do it. Have you contacted your senators yet? Im in the process of getting some more things together to send to my senator.....IN HOPES THAT if he mails this evidence in it will get mathced up to our casse. I have hopes that some of the evidene will send might help us move on or clarify things. it is now requiere to send in evidence for the marriage, and the time that we filed the only thing that wa asked for was the marriage certificate. Now its a bit differnt so Im getting pics, his birth ceritticats, and affidavtits from friends, emails , ect and what ever else i can think of to send in. Hope it helps.

Yes, I did! I got everybody involved that I could. Now the consulate is closed for who knows how long. I got the new AOS papers done yesterday and I'm taking them with me on my trip to Morocco (in case he ever needs them).

I'm going out of my mind right now! I can't reach him, he got someone else's cell instead of his own and the phone number doesn't work! He can't get it back right away since he's in a different city and I'm leaving tomorrow! I'm afraid I won't know anything tomorrow before I have to go to the airport! I"m sure, i'm over-reacting, I hope I am!

But he didn't e-mail me or anything since I couldn't reach him. #######! I have to figure something out!

Sorry for rambling, but that's where we stand right now.

Well, enjoy your time with your husband...

Best of luck Tanya and keep us posted...

See you in 3 weeks.

Is there anything that I can help you with? Do you need a contact in Casa in case you have problems with getting in touch with your husband?

Let me know maybe there is something that we can do>>>

There is a number floating around for DOS. I called them a few times and found out the information I needed about security checks. They even told me that it was a 3 part process and that my fiance had completed two of the security checks and will be finished with the last one that same day. She also told me that it would be sent out that night to the consulate.

Thanks Dorothy and TDS. I even called his brother and nothing. The weird phone # my husband gave me doesn't even ring, so either he made a mistake or something's wrong.

I'm leaving tomorrow at 12 noon for JFK and still don't know what's going on. This is promissing to be the 'best' trip ever! He used to call me be4 I'm leaving for Morocco. Now I got a phone call from probably a pay phone in Morocco on my cell, but I wasn't there. Called back and got a strange guy who hang up on me. Is this me over-reacting or am I right? Dorothy, can I have that phone number in Casa, just in case?

Sorry, TDS for getting off topic. I'll behave
