Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview

Hello,

Does anyone have information on how long this typically takes or if it seems our case is just stuck in limbo?  (This is copy and paste of my USCIS Case Status on their website.)

"My case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
As of March 3, 2017, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number xxxxxx, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Under Case History it says (as of 2/2/2017)
We received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center office is working on your case again.

Mine has been set on this since March too. 

 

It's perfectly normal. We spoke to our congressman and put in a service request and both said we're just basically in a queue awaiting scheduling.

Yes, we got that in March.

Yes, we submitted application for EAD and adjustment of status in December 2016 and got the work permit in March 2017 (about 3 months later).
