Hi all,

 

A question for those who have been approved. I was approved on 24 August (Decision Date), and I received the letter on 28 August.

However, case status still is at 'Case was received'. No update on card in production etc

 

How long does it usually take for this to change? I saw a couple of other timelines where the card has been delivered about a week after the approval letter.

 

Also - is there another Welcome Letter I should receive, or is it straight to the new GC after the approval notice?

Are you looking at the case status using the app or USCIS website? The app is  usually out of sync with reality. If you don't see any status update on the website it might be just the human error: the officer forgot to update it. The most important is that you got a letter. If you don't receive any updates or a card within a month give USCIS a call.

My online status has not changed; I do use an app too, but I check online regularly also!

 

I even have USPS informed delivery in case the card is on its way and they did not update online. Will wait and month and see what happens!
