From what I read, Trump did not understand the impact of what he had done until after he signed the order.

they should understand that each immigration process is a unique story and without all the info, without knowing the circumstances that a child was brought here under, without knowing if they have anything at all to go back to in their country of birth, without knowing what contributions they've made to this country since being here..it is callous to say well i did things legally, turn in your parents nom nom nom. in my mind daca recipients are already just as much american as i am. no one gets to choose where they are born, or where they are taken to live as children. the fact that daca recipients have to maintain high standards to even qualify should be enough to satisfy everyone here, who have also had to satisfy high standards to come here. i don't understand people who want to immigrate and reunite their own families, while wanting to tear other families to pieces. it's gross to me.
