A child can't understand that legal aspect. That to me is the whole point. Mom and Pop moved, they went along, what do little know about legality, nothing.

Thousands of years ago, China built a wall thousands of miles long, through territory that was even more difficult.  As for the cost, Mexico will eventually pay for it, so that is irrelevant.

In a sense that they can even grasp it. They did not think oh ok today I will be part of an illegal move and I can't convince my parents otherwise so I am going against my

That is not a credible argument for me.

Perhaps if you find Trump volunteers to line up to literally contribute with money and labor. Carry those wall bricks like the wall of China. Seriously you are

That is why they are considered to be exploited.  The parents weren't taking them to Disney World.  They were illegally smuggling them across an international border.

Absolutely!  It is thousands of years later.  We have the technology to build amazing things.  We can build a wall.

Of course it's technologically possible. And extremely expensive. Is the wall the most important thing needed in the US?  Could  those billions be used for greater benefits elsewhere in the country?

The laws are only as good as the people who make them. They aren't the tablets of Moses.
Rigidity to certain laws only and disregard to those even you would think are silly are agenda picking when saying the law is the law.
Laws are made with room for improvement. Life is fluid. Stagnant and rigid insistence over decades is not logical to certain laws
where humanity is involved. That's what congress is for.
I already answered what should happen to after DACA children or if you will, young people.....tomato > tomatoe.
It does NOT give incentive as I said if there are no incentives from employers and borders are improved.
 

I didn't realize you were talking about out-dated laws in general, I thought you were referring to immigration laws specifically.  As to Congress doing their job, isn't that exactly what Trump did here.  It was questionable if DACA was even constitutional and lawsuits were meandering through the court system to make that decision, but in reality, congress needs to pass a law.  The big problem there is as I stated, they may do something, and talk about controlling the border, but we all know what will happen.  The border will remain porous and there will be new laws in place that will be an enticement for others to try the same route.  Personally, I like @TBoneTXidea where if you want the benefits of DACA, you need to turn in your parents who are here illegally.  As many have said in this thread, it is the parents that are the criminals, and there should be some consequences for their actions.
