It is when the large basis for that is based on a long history of racism.

So it is racist to enforce the rule of law and the immigration laws on the books? GASP!!!!!! I MUST BE RACIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit.... Sorry I don't have any GIFs to give, I am all out of GIFs for the rest of week after my GIF fight on Tuesday.

At the time it sounded right, as did the Japanese internment camps during WWII, or the Chinese exclusion act. They sounded right, and yet they were not only right, they were morally reprehensible.

There you go with all that emotional stuff again. Shame!

Our current immigration laws, which allow people to come legally from all over the world, are racist?  Enforcing the law on someone who came here illegally, which DACA recipients did, is not in anyway racist.

You're conveniently leaving out the biggest and most important part of the equation which is "free will". The DACA recipients did not come here of their own free will they were brought here by others. We here in the US do not hold innocent people responsible for other peoples actions.

But we sure aren't holding their parents accountable for the actions of bringing the children here are we? No, we actually tried giving them DAPA as well but luckily it was struck down in court. So how is that fair to the millions of LEGAL immigrants waiting in the wings to come here Legally?

That's a completely different issue and I have no problem with holding the people who actually broke the laws accountable.

DACA doesn't make them legal.  It "defers" their deportation, temporarily.  It is actually in the name.

I agree with you on this as I have stated previously in this thread. If you have filed for and got approved for DACA then I have no problem with you being here at all. But to the people that have not been approved for it or have not filed for it then Buh BYE!
