We filed our paperwork for AOS and EAD together. Our package was signed for in Chicago on 4/6, We received our NOA1 on the EAD, but nothing on the AOS. I checked with a few others who have received their NOA, and they said all of the forms they submitted were listed on one NOA. Ours only had the EAD. Should I be concerned or is it normal that they may send them separately?? Ok well nothing is 'normal' about how the government works, :no: so is it POSSIBLE that they would do it that way and there is not a problem? Thanks.

Good point...

Did you guys have a civil wedding, and its your "big" wedding that's in June?

Not sure what the OP's response will be. But the 6-17 wedding date is also past the 90day terms of the K1.

I just saw that too! If you aren't married yet, they'll reject the AOS package or send you an RFE for proof of marriage.

2007-04-16: I-485 and I-765 sent to Chicago (My AOS/EAD checklist)

2007-04-17: Received at Chicago

2007-04-23: NOA1 date (both)

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!

Stop panicking people!! :lol: Yes of course I got married civilly to meet the k1 requirement prior to filing AOS. this is the first time anyone has commented on the fact that I didn't list my marriage date. :lol:

Ok now that that is settled, thanks for the original reply of the separate notices. We applied 4/6 and received the EAD NOA dated for April 13th. I was hoping that was the case, that they will just arrive separately. ?So now I'll just keep watching the mailbox...sigh.

Yes i know brnid!! :whistle: If I had asked the question in MENA they would know I was smart enough to know I have to be married first. These guys don't know me, so I guess they had to make sure.

On the upside, I got my other NOA today. So all is well.
