I think mine may be a bit different because I submit online through RapidVisa. I basically go through them and they send to where it has to go. If I would have done this alone, I'd be beyond lost. They have check list after check list and I think we paid 1,200 in total for the filing fee plus their fee. Worth it. Just wanted to get to filling out the information but it says in bold "DON'T DO THIS UNTIL YOU RECEIVE THE APPROVAL." LOL

Haha, well I guess you have to listen to them!  I think there'll be plenty of time, but yeah, I wanted to have it done early and not have to send stuff through DHL.  I'm sure it'd be just my luck that the embassy would ask for something I didn't anticipate, and I'll still have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to send paper halfway around the world

I don't know if this will help anyone, but I was browsing through the Affidavit of Support on rapidvisa, and when It got to this section to fill out. It says that if it's before April 15, you won't need your 2017 tax returns. (this was helpful for me because my income drastically changed last year when i spent 6 months with him.)

My date keeps changing. It went from March 26 to March 20. Normally I wouldn't care but I don't want a sponsor. I really don't. I have a small family and my mom said maybe she'd help and we are moving in with her when my fiance gets here anyway. It's easier to save money until he's working and we decide if we want to stay in new york or move to Florida. (new york is just so unaffordable these days.) but i guess we'll see. I may get lucky here! my income is triple the minimum for every year except for 2017 aaaaaand it's been driving me nuts. The downside to staying in morocco for 6 months :(

Try changing that Texas service center to California service center. Because it was not a transfer. That only gives estimate because some people put it wrong like that.

other than that I hope it will be faster than that! What's your received date?

I definitely don't think it'll take until after April to receive an NOA2? My received date is 9/6. 167 days ago -___-

I thought that was noa1 notice date.. wow they made you wait a week for received date!

I hope it won't take either but as some cases wait longer than others I'm giving my self at least a month of window.

I updated it and it just went from March 19 to March 20. I took out the transfer. These dates are just estimated on when to receive the NOA2? I wish they were dates where all of this would be done! lol

The estimate works like this in simple explanation:

for example there are 300 people in vj in a month and 25 got their approval fast like 170 days! And most of them got around on average of 200 days. So because most people are around 200, vj won't count the ones that exceeds this (outliers) because there are also people who will never update their timelines.

so right now it still going around July, and when august becomes more with shorter dates the estimate will go shorter.

basically it applies to "most" of the cases, but not all. So my case may be adjudicated I say +- 15 days according to my guess, as august started before vj's estimates.

All this is confusing, we received our noa1 notice September, I wasn’t told anything as far as “updating things”. What are you all talking about? Is there a way to get an estimate on the date that we will rectour noa2?

If you go to your profile and fill in your timeline (update when you sent your package and when you received your NOA1), VJ will give you an estimate on when you should receive your NOA2 based on what other users are reporting

I'm getting really frustrated with my fiancé at this point. He's not a bad guy, he just relies waaaay too much on me for information on what he needs to do. Everything I've learned about this process has been because of this site and Google. We both have internet access. Now that I'm back to work, I'm getting really irritated that I have to go to work, come home, and tell him exactly what to do with everything. It's not like the websites are super secret. UGH.

I'm starting to go a little crazy, I think. Stress is making me a total basket case, and seriously blow up at the stupidest things. I can't wait for this to all be over.

LOL. I had to laugh at this because I have definitely had to do everything and anything involved in this process. Women are more meticulous than men and I'm a perfectionist which is required for something like this, but still I feel ya. Just a tad irritating. Although he is the one paying :).

I think for me trying to understand what happened in the 5 minutes between these two comments was the most confusing thing of the day 😂😂

they are doing august (up to mid august) currently, maybe 2 more weeks for September to start.

i would at least have a quick go through this September filers topic if you want to know all and about the situation.
