I'm getting really frustrated with my fiancé at this point. He's not a bad guy, he just relies waaaay too much on me for information on what he needs to do. Everything I've learned about this process has been because of this site and Google. We both have internet access. Now that I'm back to work, I'm getting really irritated that I have to go to work, come home, and tell him exactly what to do with everything. It's not like the websites are super secret. UGH.

I'm starting to go a little crazy, I think. Stress is making me a total basket case, and seriously blow up at the stupidest things. I can't wait for this to all be over.

Big hugs to you sweety. Don't stress. It'll all be over soon.

Not all people are the same. I am good with paperwork, he has trouble getting a printer attached to a computer. He is phenomenal at planning, I even manage to run out of toilet paper (no joke).  Everybody has his or hers own qualities. I say let the people do what they're good at and don't force people to do things they don't get cause that will just lead to more frustrations. It's what a good marriage is in my opinion. You share the work by letting each do what you do best.

Ahh! It's normal for him to rely on you for information. Seriously, many of our SOs don't really know much about the process. I'm the Beneficiary and my USC doesn't know deep about the process. He just knows the 'step by step Info'.

You need to be patient with him, as this process itself is one hell of nerve wrecking. We have to make sure that the frustration doesn't get it's way to our relationship.

It's so interesting to see that it's mostly the beneficiary who does all the paperwork.

I really needed to hear these things! Thank you so much. It's just incredibly difficult for me to do this alone. Nobody in my family understands, my fiancé doesn't really understand (other than the concept that this process gets him here). I feel like I'm bearing this huge burden myself. The only thing my SO and family can do are reassure me that it'll all be okay.

It's not my SO's fault. I know that. And I shouldn't take my frustration out on him. I just honestly do feel like I'm losing my mind. I go from this hostile butthead to a sobbing baby these days. It stinks.

Has anyone starting filling out the Affidavit of Support? I wanted to browse through the questions but since my documents are on rapidvisa, I can't move to the next page unless I fill out as I go and it says not to, until i receive the approval.

I was thinking about it since it'll be easier to give everything to my fiance when I see him early next month.  I'll have to check over the questions carefully - there's a lot from i-129 too.

You know whats frustrating ?????????????????

Logging into your USCIS account to see if your account has been touched and you get a popup that says your user name does not exist !!!!  Funny, I got an email confirmation that says my user name was all ready to go.  After several attempts to get into my account so I decided maybe I should just open another account.  Low and behold the user name I chose says its already in use - Damn, I cant win for losing.  Now I have to wait to talk to someone tomorrow about my stupid online account - GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hey all I am a September filer, long time lurker first time poster. I am in a bit of a situation. My fiance is from Manila but has lived and worked in Dubai for 4 years. Her work visa expires in March and her company doesn't want to renew since she will be leaving. Would it be best for her to stay in Dubai and just get a 90 day tourist visa or for her to go back to Manila? Will they want to see her residency at the interview?

Anybody have thoughts on my situation?

I'm not sure what the correct answer is to this but I think it will be better if you contact the embassy in Dubai and ask them. Which embassy did you originally put on your I-129F form?

She will have to interview in Manila so just have her go back.  Does she already have her CFO sticker?  OFWs are required to get them but she will be required to have one when she leaves the Philippines this time.
