This happens.

my fiancé also went back in October so his w2 was ridiculous this year.

get an employment letter, pay stubs backwards most recent you can get at the time of interview 3-5 months. Bank statements. (These are usually enough btw, depending on the embassy)

she can also show assets s sets if necessary but I don't think it will be a problem.

you can just in case get a co-sponsor (that's what we are doing)

I think a us citizen still needs to file taxes even if he/she is working abroad? Never filed these? Even if it doesn't show a big income or anything if she can get previous year it could show stability and explanation of why.(I may be wrong about this taxes part)

Hi Naes,

Thats what I was thinking, I have asked her to make sure to file her last years taxes too despite being overseas. Her salary is pretty decent currently so hopefully no need for a co-sponsor. I will make sure we get all the possible pay stubs we can before the interview.

Thanks for the help :)

Good to see timeline dates moving back and people getting their NOA2's.  In the back of my head I keep telling myself that checking the website and case tracker daily will not speed up the process (I've called everyday this week too) and I have asked God to just let me be selfish on getting my fiance here so that I can live out the rest of my years with him.  I live in my own dreams, but I know that soon I will be hearing something back from USCIS soon.  My fiance keeps telling me that he does not want to come to the US and that I should just move to Morocco.  I would if I did not have a mortgage, my mom and brother living with me and my son.  We have talked about him moving here and establishing a life and then retiring to Morocco.  We like to take on duel citizenship if possible.  We would like to have residences in both places which we can.  Sometimes I wish it was easier to get approved but I understand that there is a process and and security measures.  We both are just reassuring one another that we will get thru this no matter what.  Ugh I really hate the wait

I would like to believe that since you filed in Sept that you qualify as a Sept 2017 filer.  USCIS recvd our filing on September 29 and NOA1 was October 3.

Looking for some advice, as I'm really stressed/confused.

I'm starting to work on form I-134, and I don't really know what to do. I just graduated from college in August, and I didn't have a significant income for the last few years as I finished my degree. I just started my job two days ago, and not going to pay enough to meet income requirements (I work for a non-profit, no-kill shelter). Before this, I was a temporary worker and an intern. I definitely don't have proof of income for the past several years.

My parents are going to co-sponsor my fiancé for me (bless them). So do I just fill out an I-134 myself, and then have them fill out a second one? Is there another step I need to take?

Im also having my parents co-sponser so you would need to do a I134 for as well as a separate one for them

Thank you so much! There's so much outdated information out there, and it was confusing me even more.

Don't forget only one parent can co-sponsor.

You and the co-sponsor both will need to each fill one.
