That's great news, thank you. So each of those forms along with removal of conditions requires the $85 biometrics fee. I presume if you file them all together then the biometrics is done once to cover for AOS, EAD and AP and then once more when removing conditions?

I believe so but can't confirm at this moment.

So much good news this week. Processing times picking up, NVC going back to normal, good reviews from the new London Embassy.

Now on top of that, I finally found a new job! Going to be working at a local animal shelter, and spend my days around animals. It's not perfect for my financial situation, but it'll sure help with my anxiety issues!

Fiancé is now requesting that I send him at least 10 photos of dogs per day.

Thanks so much Naes! Will definitely take a look. Have you decided what you’re going to do when it comes to insurance?

Well I will do my best not to kill myself in the first month. Then after marriage fiancé will add me to his insurance (which is funny cause he got his just today and was telling me it doesn't have to be SSN but at least my passport number 😂😂)

Hello dear Septembers!

We need a bit of your help. We're looking at affidavit of support and we have a question.

My fiancée lives on a property with three separate cottages. Her sister lives in one as well, and she wrote a letter that we included in our petition, which confirms my relationship to my fiancée. She added her contact information in this letter, including the address. Do we need to clarify at the interview, that these are all separate households with separate incomes at the same address? We hope to avoid confusion when our affidavit of support and my fiancée's income is reviewed, should they think there are more people in the household than just my fiancée.

thank you in advance!

Hmm that's new to me. However I don't see a problem, because income dependent and household is a different thing.

my fiancé still lives with his family, and my co-sponsor is his mother. The address will be same but their income are separated and nobody depends on anyone.

So I find it pretty regular occurance in a little different ways but it's regular.

i wouldn't worry and just answer if they ask about it.

Thank you for the answer! One more question - will your fiancé’s mother list him as a dependent person in her form or not? We’re having a co-sponsor as well, we are not sure if he should list my fiancée there if he doesn’t support her

Hi all!

In anticipation of hopefully a March NOA2, why is there an emphasis on calling the NVC after two weeks from NOA2?

Is it to get the case number faster so we can apply for our interview? WHat if we don;t call the NVC? Sorry for the silly question :0 :0 :0

Basically, if we don't call, how do we get our case number and is it a longer wait? I ask because my fiance the petitioner is unlikely to have any time at all to call the NVC every hour every day like most of you suggest.

Well first of all beneficiary can call NVC, and nobody ever suggest to call NVC every hour every day, that's ridiculous.

If you don't call you'll wait for NVC to send you an email, in some cases you'll wait for your embassy to contact you. People here usually wants things faster or just want to know the status so they call.

you don't have to call.

however note that if you don't call you won't get the case number till NVC sends you, and if by chance it gets a problem such as it didn't reach there (yes it happens) or stuck in AP (yep this happens too) you may not know where your case is.

but that's basically the only reason.

Hi Naes,

Thanks so much.

I may have exaggertaed but I have honestly read guides where people say to call as many times a day as possible so I got the wrong impression.

I will get a good international plan and make the calls myself when the time comes. Coming from Kenya I fear for the worst case yoy describe wehre i may not get my case number.

From everything I understand the case number can be in various stages but when it is finalised then i can proceed with the interview appointment, ds610 etc?

You're welcome :)

Once a day is good enough to check after 10th day.(that's what we tell to people)

and yes you can start ds-160 once your status says ready. However definitely check embassy specific requirements some work a bit different.
