Cool :) Let us know what they are going to tell him. We are on day 123 too (or 126) Notice date vs received date. Btw I need to follow your timeline. Hope it's not a problem :) At least I am sure (based on your work u thrown in here) you would update it after NOA2.

Oh everyone will know easily when I get my noa2 😂 Not from a timeline but from my scream that will go reach California from Japan :D

I'm expecting them to tell him we are in "normal processing times" "there is a backlog" "they are working on June 1" (or whatever at the moment they say they do...) and that they can't give information 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

but need to warm him up and bring him him up to speed on being angry at this process... I don't want him to go too soft when the time comes hehe

Ha ha ha :)) When I will hear a scream coming from far far away I will know u got your NOA2 :))  Also it is not a bad idea to get accustomed to the support. Maybe I will ask my soon yo be  better half to call them next month and try to get some info if our background checks where completed at least. Not expecting any more information what I read from others. Btw not sure if being angry with the customer service will help. I read in some other threads that they just might hang up the phone.

I forgot - after how many days are you allowed to contact the senator? lol was it 150 or 200?

I think when your @Naes NOA2 gets there, we all feel a little shake in our bodies, asleep or awake, we all feel you! haha

It needs to pass the processing time to show out of normal times but normally it used to be 150 days to contact congressman now I don't even think that helps.

And what’s the “normal” processing time the Uscis gives? I hope it won’t go up to 150 days but if it does there’s no harm in contacting someone and see if they can do anything.

It is not a date, right now they barely started july and everyone is already 190 days almost.

normal processing times means the date on the website shows a date after your noa1 date.

well I know it's probably not helping a lot.

but I also think, the more WE all speak out and show what we go through, and proof them how wrong they do us,

that's the only way all the congress peeps can change things! we can't. they can.

the more noise we create, the more they are wake!

...at least that's what I think!

i think if we make the noise, they see they are understaffed and have to do something about it.

well maybe I'm completely wrong, but I have hope. I hate letting things just get worse, when we have a voice to speak out.

who knows what will happen or if it gets worse or soon it will take 14 months for the entire process... we shall see

PS: do you notice I am not in a good mood today?

Yes honey please come back to us ;)

i was in an extremely bad mood yesterday and would really like to see some positive movement today also.

I also think the same way about calling btw. I don't think they help us individually but I believe it will help as a mass :)

As a government official I can tell you it's no use to mass-call the people that handle the cases. They are probably just as frustrated as we are cause a) they can't do their work properly and b) they have to listen to us nag all the time. The more we call them the less time they can spend on cases. If you really want to change something you got to find someone higher up.

I think they should hire Naes :hehe:

at least I get to leave in 20 min and go start my baking marathon!

I get a good playlist that will hopefully put me in a good mood then...

that's right - as a mass we can move things! that's why we gotta bother them and get on their nerves and all that stuff...

since this isn't helping so far (and a lotttttttttttttt of people already call in), I figured next step is if we all start bugging the

congress peeps, have them go after USCIS and hope for the better?!

It is the date that is advertised on their website.  I'm a June 6 filer on day 224 and the site still shows June 1.  I cannot easily talk to Tier II until after the date on the website passes my received date.  As of today, "normal processing time" is 229 days.  They only change that date once or twice a month.

I have talked to USCIS 5 times and even got my Congressman involved.  We just need to relax...
