It's been about 1 year 5 months at this point. He is originally from Tennessee so his family is in TN. He moved up to Connecticut this June for his job so he's all alone there. When we filed, we naively thought the application will be done by November and will be spending Christmas together this year.

 

Now he's slowly opening up to me again by talking about anything and everything, except for the K1.

 

I hope everyone's relationship are all going strong and won't let the system defeat them.
