That's what I'm thinking based on some answers that I read too! But you know, I'm getting paranoid with all this stuff now that it's so close =/

It's ok, we are all a lil bit crazy when things seems to be to easy to be true in this process :jest:

Hi, pals, i've been a long time silent reader on this forum but just now have a question. My Noa1 states  sept 13 but received date sept 11th. After creating an account with  USCIS i saw they marked my case as sept 13th but in the scanns and USCIS app my wac#********** is under sept 11th. I'm wondering why would 1 system list my case under 2 dates, sept 11 and 13 th and which is correct date to go by. Any input is appreciated, thanks.

Sept 11.

If your wac number sayssept 11 as received it is sept 11

noa1 is the date they created and sent your notice.

received is when they give it a number as a valid form and the date they received the application on their system.

here the numbers you'll see In the scans are received dates.

Hello everyone,

Another September filer here (noa1 09/18) and seriously, I feel so stupid cause I thought they were still doing August applications and so I didn't check VJ for quite some time and I finally did it now and what I found out is crazy. Omg, I can't truly believe we're so close! I wasn't expecting NOA2 for at least the end of the month, more likely mid April. But I guess we're close.

I don't know what to say. I will update y'all as soon as I know something.

In the meantime, it's nice to read your comments and see I'm not the only one desperate for the infinite wait.

Ps, anyone from Italy?

Good luck everyone!

From Italy too here! I’m excited and desperate at the same time.!!!!

Long time lurker and fellow September filer (9/18) here! First off, I want to thank @Naes for all your work! Like most people here, your scans are what I look forward to the most =)

Anyway, a question for anyone who might know the answer...is it okay to submit a DS-160 form from the USA? My fiance and I are currently in Japan and like many of you here, was not anticipating this long wait and now I have to go back to the US at the end of March as I'm just here on a tourist visa. Although we're expecting to hear something soon, she's planning on coming back with me to the USA to visit for about a month before she has to come back for the interview.

I'm anticipating that even if we get the approval soon, we won't get a case number until the first week of April.  I know once we have the case number, we can start to schedule various things as well as submit the DS-160 and schedule the interview, which we can all do in the USA. So she will be definitely be the one submitting the form, but would there be any issues doing it from the USA? Any advice would be much appreciated =)

Good luck to everyone!

I don't see any problem. But don't forget the return ticket (esta rules) and some ties back home and be honest at the entry. I always entered easily, especially since our petition is filed.

ds-160 can be filed from anywhere, some people even file for the beneficiary from US in case their fiancé would have trouble with the form. So no worries there either.

I have a question in regards to what needs to be sent from me as the petitioner  along with the I 134 affidavit of support form. I was reading other forums etc and it looks like you don't need a notorized bank statement if you are 125% above poverty line. Is this true? If so, would pay stubs suffice for evidence? I'm deff above the 125% above the poverty line.

Thank you.

Yes you don't need it. (I didn't even know notarized was needed either) however if you are not using assets to prove your income you don't need it. (I got it just in case. However not notarized.)

Why do you always assume posts are about you? I get that you post .. a lot, but no. I direct my posts towards the questions being asked and numerous answers being given on all forums on here. This isn't the healthiest place for someone to be when they're so worried. There is a lot of worry and negativity on here. People are unsure. When people are unsure, they seek confirmation from other people who are also unsure. It just gives a self affirmation that a bunch of people are unsure but as long as they make others feel ok about being unsure, then I guess that's ok? Doesn't make sense to me.

What I take offense to, is how you assume that I need to mention you in all of my posts. Guilty conscience? Because I haven't spoken about you from the day that I signed on here until now. I speak in general. Not really sure why I even have to defend my responses. Just seems, if you're not the one with the answers, no one else can have answers

I just said that because I wrote about my case days ago, which can be ignored. Anyone can assume it is about them, as before too I was involved in the other conversations (both about expedite and the 7000 pictures, so yes I may think it involves me too.) why would it be guilty conscience? About what should I even feel guilty? By apologizing when I thought I hurt you when the talk was about expedite? Or being one of the people who said I saw 7000+ was too high? Or because I said it felt like a stone, because I literally wrote about it one day ago? It may not be me, and is it like too hard to laugh it off to say nah this happened the other day??

i have never even once said or meant that I have all the answers, the other way around I say to you as well give us more answers if you're not satisfied so we can all know. I like answers with nice backup as well, and never once here said a thing just coming out of an idea. You don't like percentages of possible outcomes, which is ok and awesome you have both an agent and an immigration lawyer to asked to some of us is only living with the possible outcomes.

and not everyone reads every single page, so yeah if there's something that can be translated into lots of different things I'll comment too. I don't like seeing people worried or anxious either. That's a reason why I do that. Because sometimes 1 answer is not all cases. And having more than one answer is what's worth reading.

I was actually 100% agreeing with you... am I not suppose to comment when you write something? You say you don't do snarky comments, me neither, if my tone sounds that way too that I can't do anything about. We may both obviously sound like something we don't mean to, however I don't think neither can do anything about it but giving a disclaimer in every comment. Which I chose not to.

@h&y

ypu know what lets just say our tones don't match.

we are all already stressed, waiting and nervous or any kind of emotions that's filling us with. I'm not normally a forum person. Not going to lie never used one.

none of my comments are ever to frustrate you. Nor ever I wish your case something bad and if I comment it is only to mean supportive and protective over your case thinking what would I do if it was mine. But I don't want this going back and forth, I know you don't want or care about this either.

I'm tired after all this wait. Really tired.

We are all tired. I've mentally reached my breaking point which is what I tried to avoid when paying for services to assist me with the application. I don't have a vendetta or tone with anyone on here but when I notice that a lot of people are just all reassuring each other based on guessing information, I don't want someone to fail because they're over thinking or frustrated. You know? Honesty and a real relationship will prevail for all. Trust me I have to say this 500 times a day. (To myself) I can't tell you how many times I call RapidVisa. I love when they talk about their approvals. Some circumstances are a lot more odd than we talk about on here. My fiancé told me to stop stressing. I have to try. I come on here to see the positive updates and to just let people know what Rapidvisa is telling me. They do get a lot of approvals too.

I'm in the exact same boat with you...

believe me from the first time I saw your engagement pictures moooonths ago all I wish for us here to just get approved and finally be able to go back to our normal state of mind..my fiancé is just telling me I am a different version of me when I'm in US with him. Which is true! Handling this stress alone is not good for us!

i didnt even know rapidvisa existed till i came here.. I find it lucky for you to have at least one more buffer to ask questions! Just let me tell you now, I may joke and everything but never to hurt you! Ever! I'm only snarky to dudes who told me to man up, and chicks that believe I have magic in my private places(ok see I realized I can't stop these jokey answers this is my defense mechanism!)

lets just finish this and finally put happy pictures with all our concern being how to file aos when we are finally finally with our loved ones!!

Not sure if this post will help anyone but I spent quite some time speaking with Rapidvisa today. I also spoke with an immigration attorney. (Mind you, my fiance and I did pay to get assistance with our application because if I would have done it by myself, I'd be in the same boat constantly posting on here for guidance.) We went through numerous applications that were approved without meeting the minimum poverty guidelines. what saved them was providing multiple years showing they did. Its crucial that the petitioner meet at least 2 of 4 years provided. I also asked about current income.. It is different than 2017 income. Current is from Jan 2018- present and should be included in the letter from employer. Also, the most important pieces of evidence are your taxes, which can either be transcripts or returns. It does mention on the government website that I was shown today that tax returns are fine if transcripts are not available. 4 most recent paystubs and a letter from employer. All other documents are your choice. I had to speak with someone because to be honest, as much as i've been involved here, no one is an expert and following trends of a percentage of applications isn't really a way id like to be guided. i say this with no disrespect.. i heard  about a lot of positive cases today, some in very odd circumstances. (no personal info given of course.) anyway, hopefully this helps someone panicking.

So back to he topic cause this is awesome information!

do you think not having an employment letter would matter? We have everything like taxes and w2s and paystubs but the company is not giving an employment letter.....
