Hi all

I've been a bit of a lurker on the message boards (Sept 11 NOA1 here). I thought I'd see if anyone had any insight into a mistake I made on our 129f....  I listed the wrong embassy on our form. I listed Recife, Brazil. However, the only location that handles K1's in Brazil is in Rio de Janeiro. I didn't realize this prior to submitting (as my fiancé had gotten his tourist visa in Recife)... Oops.

Have you seen or heard of this elsewhere? And know what kind of impact this would be? Since Rio is the only embassy that handles K1's in Brazil, would NVC just ignore my mistake and send to Rio? Or is it something that after NOA2, I need to call NVC and try to speak to someone about it?

Apologizes if this is a silly question... Thanks in advance for any insight!

NVC will most likely just ignore it and change it to rio.

yes I've seen it happen before (a lot actually)

Same!

It's driving me nuts. They touch a few cases and then stopped just 2 numbers before mine. That was 4 days ago.

So here I am in the office, refreshing the app every 5 mins.

Had a 2 hours long management meeting yesterday and I was using the app to scan cases lol.

I've just added all September 15 cases to the app....just so I don't have to scan everything every single hour......

i didn't listen to 1 meeting since September started (actually no since august started...actually nope since probably last October....)

Hey @Naes just a idea. have you ever heard of the program Log Me In? You can have your computer running at home and download their app. You can control your home computer from your app and initiate scans on the home computer any time. (If you use a laptop, it works too)

My problem is that I can't bring any computer to work due to security policy of my company. (Wait you meant an app I think? Let me check it)

I don't think we need to be addicted at that level as we all can check our cases personally and that data should be used for analysis purposes for all of us. Of course this is just personal reason. But I saw people constantly asking about it before and the question came to do we really need it like that?

Exactly. But really thank you! If it works I can at least start the scan early! And just post when I'm home.

Also here are some alternatives that accomplish the same purpose:

Our petition was approved!

NOA1 Sept 11th

NOA2 March 8th.

Updated online but no text or email so far. I'm the petitioner and just happened to check online. So I had the pleasure of phoning my fiance to let him know! I am in shock! I'm paranoid there has been a mistake haha.

We are waiting for ours. I am the petitioner and received NOA 1 on Sept. 11 as well. Hope to get NOA2 within few days. Congrats to you :).

I'm on the same boat with you. I made a stupid mistake on that location too. I put Seattle, WA instead of Rio de Janeiro. Obviously I misunderstood the question. I was thinking as if they are asking the location for the AOS process of my fiancé. I was getting kinda worried on that too.

I'm glad you asked the question.

Thanks @Naes for responding to this.
