Hello September Berries! I'm not a member here but I've been following this thread and a silent reader since the August 2017 Filers. I want to appreciate @naes

for being consistent running through the scans everyday. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Our case was received last 9/01/17, my Fiance received the approval letter (NOA2) today and got approved on 2/27/18. There was no notification/update from the app as well. As for the rest, just wait and relax your turn is right around the corner! Have a great day everyone :)

Congratulations!! Would you mind creating/updating your timeline? It really helps us out :)

Hello September filers! This is my first time posting here... My NOA1 was September 28th..and my estimated  NOA2 is early April.. I haven't seen my fiance since November and it has been very hard for us :( We just realized he is deploying next year so I really hope we can get our NOA2 asap!. I do have a question for you guys though.. I am finally going to see him next week - ( I have a Canadian passport) and I am just wondering what kind of documents should I prepare so there aren't any problems at the border? I am only seeing him for the weekend.. I have my bank app on my phone which proves that obviously i have strong ties to my home country(Canada) still and I am going back to work the next day when im back. Would the flight itinerary be enough? Please help! :)

@esyoue I am Canadian too and cross the border to visit my fiance every month.  I've been asked one time for proof of my return trip home and my flght itinerary and receipt were enough.  I would print off because I tried to pull it up on my phone and the guard said "no phones".  So I would print off any proof you have, i.e. bank statements, letter of employment, or copy of NOA1 etc.

Helloooo Berries!

I know it looks like we started a slow start at the moment, but I think behind the scenes are going strong!

We are having lovely news of silent noa2s!

Now let's hope they will move through that mountain called September 5 soon and give us a similar strong 200s in number just like August!

My personal berry himself is coming next week!

I sooooooo wish we could see our noa2 when he is here! What a lovely surprise it would be...

Anywayyyyyy,

is everyone slowly getting the police certificates ready?

If you lived in a country apart from where you are resident of right now, it may take a while!

So don't forget to check it ;)

I just gave my finger prints last week! (I thought the guy was trying to break my fingers.....)

The funny part is, I live in Japan and getting the one from Japan takes 1 to 2 weeks..... The Turkish certificate....takes a few hours.......

I'm so envious, I haven't seen my partner since the end of August, in 2017...

As for the Police Certificates, Uggggggh! It's getting there....

So, just like you, I also need two police certificates.

  • UK (current address)
  • BG (past foreign address)

There are a few options available for me to process the UK police certificate I believe? Which is fantastic! But preferably, I'd like to process it online, which means I need to grab myself a passport style photo in a graphic file format (I'm working on it though!).

If it's a problem, I know I can just collect it from a photo booth and mail the documents or visit in person.

As for the BG police certificate, for the whole process, I am first required to make multiple travels to london to see the BG embassy (which is a 9hr journey for me!). I've already had to reschedule plans due to the Storm! I've rebooked my travels for the 15th, so hopefully that will turn out okay... and fortunately, the embassy did inform me that it should only take a week to process.
However! Due to their holidays/closing times and my work which conflicts with their opening days, I may have to collect the documents in April.
I might also need them to be translated, as I believe they also mentioned that it would not be provided in English?

Overall, its getting there! But I really need to speed things up... :pop:

I used to live in the UK and for my police certificate I just got photo booth pics and scanned them on a crappy scanner to send in online, and it was fine :)
