Maybe this is a dumb question, but how can I find the stats page you mentioned? I tried Googling and also looking at the Swedish embassy website (since that's where my fiancé will go through), but I couldn't find anything. :P

The name is K1 stats page, go to menu - immigration timelines - K1 trends - find a tiny blue option on step 6 called K1 stats page. You can see all embassies and how many cases 😉

Hello, sept filers:)....just wondering if any Canadians that have or are soon to be approved thought about medical/interview travel plans to Montreal. I'm travelling from central Canada and was thinking/hoping/wondering what to do with my medical and interview. As it be nice to only have to fly there, find accommodations all at once.  I phoned the one doctors office close to the consulate and they said it is ready for pick up in 3 days.  Does anyone know if we schedule our own interview in Montreal or if it is made for us? How flexible the medical appointments are to make around the interview date?

Good luck to all!

Thank you!

Hi!

Another Canadian here (Montrealer). 😊 I'm not quite sure if we schedule our interview or if one is given to us ... maybe someone else on here would know for sure. Ive visited Medicis in Montreal often in the past for physicals, travel vaccines, etc.  The last time I was there I asked the receptionist about the K1 and she said to bring my package once it's ready. They are very fast... After all, they are a private health care clinic and cater mostly to travellers/executive level health care plans. In the past , I've booked appointments with less than a weeks notice however I'm going to try calling a week or 2 before to be certain. They are very accommodating. Hope this helps you!

You will schedule your own Interview date.  After that you make your medical appointment.... I think they need 3 or 4 business days for your results to be ready to bring to the interview with you.  I flew from the East Coast and decided it was cheaper to fly in for the medical and fly home and fly back week later rather than missing a week of work and paying for a weeks accommodation/ food.

Hey so I just got off the phone with Rapid Visa just to confirm what I need and I don't know why I didn't know this (thought I could just scan and email to him) but I have to mail him the documents (taxes, 5 most recent pay stubs, letter from employer and of course the I-134 printed and signed.) just to verify , wasn't there something else you guys were sending too? An updated signed letter of intent to marry? Also- which mail courier do you use? I've never sent mail to morocco and I almost feel like flying there to drop it off would be easier....

Yes, an updated and signed letter of intent to marry and I134 with evidence.

He has the evidence as far as plane tickets, pictures, conversations, that's what you mean? I asked him to print them there instead of me mailing them.

Well, this as well, evidence of ongoing relationship, but from him and signed is the form with evidence that the petitioner is able to provide to the beneficiary and that's over the poverty line, like a letter from your bank, taxes and a letter from the employer, I'm the beneficiary so I'm not really sure about the technical names. And the letter of intent to marry signed is very important too. I'm referring as him but I'm not sure who's the petitioner or the beneficiary, so I'm sorry if I confused it all.

Confused me just a little lol! Yes the evidence I'm mailing are my taxes, pay stubs & letter from employer along with letter of intent .. any other on going relationship proof such as pictures, conversations, plane tickets, he will print on his end. I just got thrown off because I wasn't sure about needing a wet signature. Some say yes others say no but I'm going with yes anyway.

Sorry for the confusion, that seems all you need, plus the I134 printed and signed. I'm going with wet signature as well.

I have sent a package to CO and I used USPS... everywhere else was just too gd expensive. I sent it with a tracking number and when I saw that it was in Bogota I had my fiancé call the mail courier there and route it to him. If I didn't get a tracking number that package would probably still be sitting in Bogota. I searched through the USPS site as well to figure out which mail courier would have the package... Good luck, and you're probably right- I think it would be easier to fly over there and deliver it yourself lol

I noticed that USPS is cheaper but I'm too nervous with them. I know that DHL is popular and I think considered the number one company to send anything internationally. There's a couple options between 30-68$ but I think I'm going with DHL express. I just don't want to risk having to send these documents again. Otherwise, I'll be taking off work and just hand delivering these to him before the interview lol

I hear you... those papers are VERY important. A few extra bucks is probably worth it
