I also made an account on the new uscis website, and my cases were updated there as well, saying AP/EAD were sent to me (I received the combo card already a few months ago) and that my interview is being scheduled. There is apparently also a new site for waiting times that seems more accurate. For me personally, it's 11-23 months for a green card. I'm in month September, so soonest will be August according to that site. I hope the forum is more accurate (which shows May-June).

Question: how are you sure which one is your local office? Is it just the most nearby one? I have been assuming so, but is there any way to tell for sure?

https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/field-offices

You can find your local field office here.

😁 check what office is assigned to your zip code.

Im in NJ and there are 2 offices, for the longest time i thought i was in Newark, but im actually in Mount Laurel which has a bit of a shorter time frame compared to Newark.

Hope this helps

I called for mine yesterday. They said the officer whom will be making the final decision is working on our case which is good and we should get an answer within two weeks. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope it goes well and takes less than the two weeks.
