Looks positive, do you remember when you sent the service request for this?

I want to know how long it takes for an officer to be assigned for a response.

Hey guys! I need some of your help!

my husband has income for 2016 41k for 2015 26k and for 2014 like 18,5k and it’s under 22 (it’s just me and him in our family)

does it matter until 2016 is over 22k?

His income for 2017 is over this amount too but he can do taxes for this year only in March

It takes about two weeks. I wouldn't recommend to do a new one on top is an old SR. They made mistakes all the time. I did the same thing putting two service request. They just canceled on the 1st one, but they did respond to the 2nd one though. I would just follow up on the 1st SR you made

Did you file AOS yet? If so, fill in your timeline.

You don't need to worry about your taxes for 2017 if you already filed AOS, but if you have an interview after March, and you've filed your taxes then bring the new tax return.

Yea heard that before that when you cross north american borders by car or land in general they just swipe it like a green card or passport no parole no stamp . Did that happen ? No need to get out the car and stuff?

We actually park our car and cross by foot, but yeah all they did was a swipe...It was faster than if I had had my Canadian passport only lol. Indeed no parole, no stamp...

Yea I will try by car , I live close to the border so I am planning to go down . I think its because you are not technically leaving the united states like via plane where your departure is recorded electronically . Just like leaving by land on a tourist visa you dont get new I-94 or anything .

Also read a few times on the forum where CBP agent at airport was to lazy to get up and just admitted as an LPR for validation of EAD/AP lol . Its there complete discretion and since those land borders are some of the busiest in the world with tons of drugs and human smuggling going on they dont care so much about people already with EAD/AP.

Technically an EAD/AP is considered a class A document from the federal government so it will function like a passport at any federal or state agency . Just like when you have a green card you dont need to carry passport around anymore but its good to have it with you when crossing borders I think personally

It has been more than a month since i sent SR. Should I do one more or no? I am moving to other state in two weeks and i dont know what I should do... should I do after I move or before I leave? Of course I will change my address and do post office mailing to new address stuff since my hubby is in military i need to find the house once we get there. What if I get my EAD right after i leave here? I asked leasing office know that i might get important mail and they said they cannot check for us.. :/ Should I call the USCIS office after I move if they sent it while i am moving? Do they let you know if i call and ask? Thanks in advance!
