Received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today, December 6th. Old style card, not the new one. My notice date was November 29th, and they mailed the card on December 1st. Case status still shows rece

I just called USCIS and I have been speaking with a tier 2 officer which told me my advance parole and work permit are on the way and gave me a track number!! 🤩 My NOA date is sept 19!

I spoke to a tier 2 officer and was told that they are currently working on August applications. 

 

If that is the case, why is it that most of September filers have their EAD, AP, interviews or GC's already???

Our timeline is very close. I got an RFIE almost the same date, although my NOA 1 date is even earlier than you. Looks like this does affect the process....

Because they say a lot of bs and actually do not work in the order received...Remember forum is only a small % of applicants and there are probably a lot of August and September filers still waiting...

Green Card approved at interview today! 95% of the questions were the classic "are you a terrorist?" etc. questions found on the I-485, and then two additional questions; how we met and why we chose to settle in the USA vs the UK. That was it!

Day 114... Sent a letter to our congressman today. Maybe it will help, maybe it won't, but at least it feels like we are trying to take some steps toward some progress.

You know you aren't too far from where I was in processing times. You had a RFE, that could definitely have delayed it a couple of weeks.

Good luck! I am 91 days. I have been thinking about raising an SR or calling them for weeks. But then I thought: "maybe today is the day". No, it never was. Today is no exception: Informed delivery says I will be receiving some ad soon.

 

Just a side question in case anyone knows, because I requested expedition, there is a "Next Steps":

As of MMDDYYYY, your request to have your case expedited, referral number ZXZXZXZXZX, is currently not assigned for processing.

 

Will there be an email letting me know there is a status change regarding the request? I have been checking the site like crazy. (There was no notification when this was created.)

Received Combo Card on Dec 30th in the mail just card! Approval letters came afterward on Jan 3rd. Keep hanging in there! Looks like it was approved on Dec 26th from what the papers tell me. Online portal never updated either about approval.

Anyone having trouble logging into MyUscis? It claims i have either tried logging into it too often (I did not; first try it said that), or that it's due to inactivity. I have checked it a few weeks ago. I have yet to get my greencard (which will be end of September, it looks like).

My lawyer put in a inquiry 2 days ago..so lets see what will happen. She did say the time frame has changed from 90 days to 120 days..... due to the holidays as well, everything has backed up. Well, may we all shed some light soon and hear good news <3
