She ended up transferring me, I am waiting on a call back ...Normally he will indeed see the approval, but the papers in my hands are proof. What I really want from tier 2 is just to tell me if it has been mailed and a tracking number!

Received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today, December 6th. Old style card, not the new one. My notice date was November 29th, and they mailed the card on December 1st. Case status still shows rece

I just called USCIS and I have been speaking with a tier 2 officer which told me my advance parole and work permit are on the way and gave me a track number!! 🤩 My NOA date is sept 19!

Good. Kindly revert after the call back. I have similar case. Ended up calling the tier 2 officer and she said the same thing that she didn't see any approval on my case and therefore there is no tracking number to provide. Suffice to say I didn't have approval letter like you do.

Will do! But yeah if tier 2 doesn't see approval, it means it's unfortunately still pending :( ...Why did you think you were approved? Or is it because it already has been so long? If so I'd suggest to make a congressional inquiry...

I have weird stories with those...it seems every time I submit one, within one day of it I receive my approval ...Happened a lot..seems too quick to be linked, but it happened 3 times lol...

@Strategistsanmi the tier 2 officer was indeed able to see the approval and was able to provide me with a tracking number as well! It is not yet in USPS system, but hopefully it happens soon :).

I was becoming frustrated adjusting from K1 with no RFE/RFIE and with most applicants getting approval left and right, I used the alibi of expecting approval in the mail to get across to tier 2 officer. She couldn't provide a sensible answer. She alluded the delay to background checks variation from person to person. I didn't believe her. I ended up  pleading with her to help contact the officer in charge of my case for clarifications and she told me I should expect a reply by mail within 3 weeks. I stopped checking the mail since yesterday. The sad thing is that my potential employer wouldn't give me a job offer letter to expedite. They just need the EAD to give me the job.

I understand your frustration...What was your PD date? I got mine in 88 days so yeah, not too lucky, but could be worse...Annoying for the job -_- ...I would definitely do a congressional inquiry if you are in the 90 days range...

Set in my application Sept 28. I will definitely do that when it clock 90 days. Thanks

My informed delivery account now also shows a package arriving from the production facility on Friday :D ...So well I wouldn't have really needed to call USCIS, but some people have been reporting that they didn't see it so I wanted to make sure...

Yeah I find it weird it was updated so soon after making an inquiry, but it's the third time it has happened, so it cannot only be a coincidence...

I think USCIS is supposed to respond to congressional enquiries within 48 hours - so this would reinforce that theory

Yes, but most of the time they won't assign it to one of the congress worker for 1-2 days from what they told me...

They still haven't contacted me back neither lol.

We plan on contacting our congressman on January 3rd if we don't hear any news by that date. That will make it 75 days since they received our RFIE documents and around 114 days since the orginal AOS documents receipt date. :rolleyes:
