Received my EAD/AP combo card in the mail today, December 6th. Old style card, not the new one. My notice date was November 29th, and they mailed the card on December 1st. Case status still shows rece

I just called USCIS and I have been speaking with a tier 2 officer which told me my advance parole and work permit are on the way and gave me a track number!! 🤩 My NOA date is sept 19!

My timeline:

Forms received by USCIS on September 19th

Checks cashed and biometric appointment set for October 18th

Got an RFIE update on the website on October 17th

Sent in RFIE documents on October 24th

Documents received status  for RFIE -was updated on the website October 26th

Submitted a request to expedite my EAD November 9th

Received email from USCIS requesting more proof for the expedite request November 13th

Case history shows that expedite request was assigned to an officer November 13th

Faxed documents in response to the email November 15th

Spoke to Tier 2 officer on December 7th because I was concerned about lack of updates after expedite request and asked if for my satisfaction if I could send the papers again via UPS. The officer said there would be no hard in sending it via postal service as well.

Mailed documents for expedite request again on the 7th of December - Delivered at USCIS 8th of December

Received email from USCIS stating that my case and request was under review

Talked to tier 2 officer on 15th Dec and he let me know that my request was approved and my card had gone to production

Congrats! And how to talk with tier 2 officer?

I received a combo card last Saturday Dec 16! I also received 2 approved notices on Dec 11 so I got a card 5 days after. They still haven't update case status online.

12/29/2020: Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another USCIS office.

01/22/2021: The fingerprints relating to your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, were taken.

05/21/2021: We ordered your new card.

05/24/2021: We approved your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.

05/26/2021: We mailed your new card your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, directly to the address you gave us.

This thread is for people adjusting from K1 visas.  I don't know which agency told you that but Minnesota does not process i485 applications in two months. If you google you will find lots of stories of people here waiting a year or more for their i485 to be processed.  The agency that told you it takes two months, needs new staff.  Every state is different.  Minnesota is one of the slowest.  There is nothing to worry about.  It will just take time.  At least if we get combo cards soon we will be able to work and travel.

Thats great news.  My dates are almost identical to yours so really hoping that means mine is on it's way.  I have just sent forms to my senator to request a congressional enquiry.  Hopefully I will get my NOA before she needs to follow up...

OMG, so I called USCIS, the lady didn’t want to transfer me to a tier 2 saying it could take 60 days before getting the combo card and because my approval notice was so soon to give them some time (60days). She couldn’t see my card being produced or sent in her system...I told her, you are also not seeing that my case has been approved, so I would definitely appreciate to talk to a tier 2 officer...she was speechless.

So did she end up transferring you to a tier 2 officer? If yes... did the Tier 2 officer able to tell you your EAD has been approved?
