I had checked the mail on Monday and got nothing.. Checked it yesterday and found both the acceptance letter and new card!

Personally I think the Sept 15 date was a mistake, I'm actually surprised they didn't change it back sooner!! I think it had changed to Sept 15 sometime in October.... We all know they don't work that fast lol.

The same thing happened to the K1 times at CSC.  They mistakenly moved it up to Sept 1 (even though according to the forums June hadn't even been touched) and then they put it back to May 1 after a week or 2.

I was thinking about contacting my congressman at the 90 day mark (next Tuesday), but now that the processing times have moved back to July I am considering just waiting it out. I figure they will also check the processing times and just tell me to wait, I feel like I would be wasting their time.

I agree that the Sept. 15th date was probably a mistake, as we know they are mostly focusing on July, August and now starting to look at the September files.

Hi!

I just looked up processing times for the closest city to where I live.

How do I know what local office our application went to?  Is it on the receipt document?  Or is it just the nearest city to where I live?

They are processing I-485 from 1 year ago!  can you imagine?  Does anyone have times this long?  Can this be right?

bummer...:(

Yes, some places like California, NY, TX are very busy and it can take quite some time!
