Unfortunately, it does stop the process. It starts from zero again as soon as they receive your response to the RFIE.

I am not going to lie, super anxious here because I haven't seen any updates for my case status and obsessively checking my mailbox isn't helping too.

I am not sure at what point I should contact our local congresswoman or if that will even help...

My timeline:

Forms received by USCIS on September 19th

Checks cashed and biometric appointment set for October 18th

Got an RFIE update on the website on October 17th

Sent in RFIE documents on October 24th

Documents received status  for RFIE -was updated on the website October 26th

Submitted a request to expedite my EAD November 9th

Received email from USCIS requesting more proof for the expedite request November 13th

Case history shows that expedite request was assigned to an officer November 13th

Faxed documents in response to the email November 15th

No updates as of today, spoke to an officer on the USCIS CS number and was asked to keep an eye on my email and mail and call back on the 13th of December if I dont receive any update on my expedite request.

EAD arrived today! I got NOA on Nov. 30th last week with an approval date of 11/27/17, which means it took exactly a week after approval date.

They sent it on Friday, December 1st and it only took three days, counting Saturday and Sunday too.

Congrats Tio :)

Just at the 75-day mark how you can raise an SR can you raise an SR when you hit the 90-day mark as well?

Yes you should be able to put in multiple SR but it depends what reply date they give you . If old SR is assigned already or not what does old SR say ? Completed ?
