He said he expedite it on 45th day saying he's been unemployed over a year and I need it soon so I can work .. so I am guessing maybe that helped him

Sorry but from what I have seen and experienced here on VJ this isnt enough. Unless he has an JOB Offer or evidences of LOSS USCIS would not expedite his case. Again I`m just saying based on my experience and from what I have seen.

So I guess they didn't approve his expeditation

he did on 45 th day and he got his ead approval on 70th day so I guess idk I mean this is very unexpected and unpredictable process

They received: 09/11/17

Biometeric: 10/06/17

i485 changed to case is ready to schedule 10/18/17

I think this individual got "lucky" as T_P expressed that doesn't seem like enough of a reason to expedite the case. Some people get lucky and hand their application on the right day at the right time and slip through quicker.

To add to this I think taking an anomaly like the situation you listed can create a falsified expectation in our minds from time to time :) Remember we can make all the educated guesses we want based on user information on this site, however, it is a very small sample compared to the overall demand of people trying to get EAD's. I do love predictions though based on data and as much as people say "August filers are still waiting" I don't think it really matters lol as much as people would like to be taken care of before other filers from later months I think this is just a crazy process with so many unknowns. The whole waiting in line until it's your turn methodology doesn't really apply to a process like this. :)

I've been writing mostly in the October and November threads as @PR&PR suggested but I pop in the close threads too just to spy on everyone :D

Same here 🤪, my noa says 10/31

It should say on your USCIS online portal if and where your case is being routed to. (National Benefits Center for instance is one of them) hope this helps 🙂

Thanks :) My online portal only says “on September 8 we received your form xxx and sent you the receipt notice” with no info on where it is lol.

My notice does have the NBC address at the bottom tho. Maybe that’s it lol 😆

Chatted with a wonderful tier two office today about an issue with my case online. He said NBC is really starting to catch up on their pile-up of applications. He, of course, didn't tell me how long until I would receive my EAD but did mention to me that it may be in my best interest to not raise an SR on the 75th day judging by the speed currently of NBC completing applications. I would take this as great news!  Perhaps at:) the very least, they are within that 90-day window yet again.
