uhm sorry...this was meant to be posted on the October thread...sorry

no worries, you are actually a November filer, because they received your case in November, not that you can't post in other thread, but for more people sharing a timeline similar to yours you should check november.

If they received it on the 5th, give it a few more days before you get anything. Look at my timeline  you will understand the delays ;). Delivered doesn't mean received and there is still a delay between my received date and the date I got my text and paper NOA.

Good luck!

Did u file SR for ead

From his answer to my post, he would have requested an expedite, which is much better if you can...like in his case from having a conditional letter for a job offer.

Addressing a few questions in recent days:

Processing EADs dated September 15th:

Despite what the USCIS official said, this is unlikely - and easily checked using a status checker app.  I'll look into that and update you.  I have a friend who has a NOA date of mid-June and only received her EAD this week.  I also follow the July and August filers and it seems current processing is predomnantly for late July/early August filers at the moment - although I saw one filer with a date of August 25th who had received their EAD - so there might be a stray case in September already approved.  Also expediting based on financial hardship or a job offer coud have caused a September filing date to have already been approved. (My NOA date is September 15th and I am not hollding my breath for my EAD just yet - I am  expecting/hoping to have it by new year)

Job offers:

If you have something IN WRITING from a potential employer - with a firm  offer of employmment, you can request an expedite.  This can take a week or two depending on what the employer has written.

Service request:

From day 75 you can place your request as per USCIS website information.  However, we are not outside of 'regular processing times' until day 90.  There is a lot of debate on other threads about whether it is best to submit a SR at day 75 or day 90 - because you cannot follow up the request for 30 days after submitting your initial request - so if  you submit at day 75 - you have to  wait until day 115 to follow up if not received by then.  At day 90 you *might* be considered as a more urgent case.  However - other threads are reporting that the 90 day 'regular' goalpost keeps being moved.  My June filer friend was told that it would need to be past 180 days to be outside of regular processing.  She eventually engaged her Senator to push things along.

A lot of August filers are getting their notice of EAD/AP this week, so even though I'm not holding my breath before new year. I'm hopeful that in a month it will be us early September filers :D!

In the meanwhile I'm just thankful I'm with the man of my live and we don't have to wait to be together anymore. I find this process so much easier than the wait for K1. It's kind of crazy how much things there are to do in a house as well. It gets boring, but at the same time there is more than enough to keep someone busy and occupied!

I have been "ready to be scheduled for interview", but who knows how long I will stay in that phase. At least I know I am cleared, just gotta wait again :P. All of us are becoming experts at the waiting game.

I'm from September 9, and have not received any update; my i-485 is also still on "fingerprint fee received" despite having had the biometrics appointment done and over with for over a month. I'm thinking the visajourney estimate mid-december on my profile is going to be closer to the actual date to receive my EAD/AP
